Four Year Medal - Please read this Special Message carefully!

Before you apply for the Four Year Medal, you must read the following important message.

We take the awarding of a medal very seriously.

It's easy to forget what happened four years ago and for this reason when we receive your application, we will search our database to verify your entitlement to a medal. That is, we will look to find your name as being a member of a Special Group in each of the last three Music Festivals.

Sometimes children think that because they were part of a school group in Year 5 that they are entitled to a medal. This is not the case - you must have been in a Special Group for four years including this year.

Our records are extensive and there should be no trouble with the verification process. However, if we cannot locate your name in our Special Group database for the required years, we will need other evidence that you participated in each year. We would expect to find your name:

If we cannot locate your name in any of the these sources, we will ask you to identify yourself in the appropriate Special Group photograph from any year for which we have no other record of your participation.

If we cannot find the evidence above to verify your claim for a medal, you will not be entitled to receive a medal.
