The entrants in the 2010 Poster Competition are to be congratulated on the standard of their works. The illustrations submitted by the winner and some of the runners-up are displayed below.

Saxon writes: "I was part of a special art extension day at school. Designing and making this poster for the Festival was one of our projects for the day. I was inspired by looking at another artwork using collage. I decided to work on a similar idea. I cut and glued the shapes, I had to really think about where to put the shapes. I also had to think hard about which shapes were stuck down first so that it all fitted. In my collage I have shown children from different schools all singing together in the choir – you can see the StAC student."

Saxon has won himself $100 and also $100 for his school. His design will be used for the festival poster and the festival programme.
