| Recorder Ensemble |
The conductor of the Recorder Ensemble is
Genny Long |
 |
| The Recorder
Ensemble is composed of approximately 40 pupils in Years 5 -8. Sopranino,
descant, treble, tenor and bass recorders are played to produce a
full ensemble sound. The Recorder Ensemble is sponsored by the Lions
Club of Ferrymead. |
Genny is an itinerant teacher of recorder and flute and has a particular interest in the teaching of recorder and music to beginning players. She has recently fulfilled a long-held ambition to study music at the University of Canterbury, and is enjoying the time she now has to arrange music, conduct choirs and play her trombone. |
